Weedmaps is a leading cannabis technology platform providing integrated solutions for cannabis consumers and businesses.
As Art Director, my role was to drive creative development while ensuring that the company’s intended message is delivered clearly and creatively to consumers and businesses.
To do this, my role included:
- Evaluate company needs, develop project strategies, and create visual elements for campaigns.
- Driving art direction for brand marketing initiatives, and visual identities for B2B and B2C
- Working with cross functional teams to set goals, provide updates, receive feedback, and present the final deliverables.
- Conduct research to better understand brand objectives, target markets, and industry trends.
- Assist in Hiring, training, and supervising design and studio team members.
- Coordinate resources with other departments to create a cohesive, effective campaign.
- Establish timelines and deliver the finished campaign within said parameters.
- Troubleshoot design, staff, or process problems as they arise.
- Ensure that all aspects of campaigns and deliverables align with the needs of the company.
- Look for ways to improve design department processes.
